The fixed patient transfer unit (PTU) without window \u201cGamma\/2\u201d, release of 2013, has been conceived using the experience and know-how of OPT, gained in more than 90 years\u2019 knowledge of the medical field.The goal of this device is to maintain the aseptic condition of the OR.<\/span><\/p>\n

The PTU without window \u201cGamma\/2\u201d is used for transferring the patient from the operating table to the hospital bed without having the personnel pass constantly from the septic to the aseptic area with clear advantages in terms of hygiene.<\/span><\/p>\n

The patient is protected by a couple of IR sensors located on the side of the transfer top, which make an anti-falling barrier in case of user\u2019s mistake.<\/p>\n

The system makes it possible to speed up the transfer top movement by pressing the button on the remote control so to reduce transferring times.<\/p>\n

In case of network failure, emergency, motor failure and\/or absence of electricity it is possible to manually translate the PTU transfer top by using the emergency crank-handle device.<\/p>\n

<\/i>TRANSFER TOP\/STRETCHER RECOGNITION SYSTEM<\/h6>\n

The PTU has a sensor kit for the recognition of trolleys for carrying operating table tops. The kit is installed on two sides of the PTU window and recognizes the presence of a table top or of a stretcher and it blocks the down movement of the transfer top after a certain time.<\/p>\n
